Do you charge a fee for your services?

Delivering high-quality planning services is a priority, and it takes a large time commitment and attention to detail, to plan a quality trip. For that reason, I charge a $50 non-refundable trip planning fee per room, due after our initial complimentary consultation. This fee ensures that I can give your trip the planning time it deserves.

Where do you plan trips to?

While I specialize in travel to the Caribbean and Latin America, I can help you plan a trip to any part of the world! For destinations where I’ve visited, I can provide personal travel recommendations, and for those destinations I haven’t been to yet, I make sure to conduct thorough research so I can provide suggestions aligned to you and your travel needs/desires.

How far in advance should I book my trip?

Flights and hotels are usually available up to 1 year into the future. If you are looking to book a trip, I recommend booking at least 6 months in advance, but I can assist you with booking trips at any point in time.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

The $50 travel planning fee is non-refundable. If you need to change or cancel an existing booking, I will reach out to suppliers on your behalf, and communicate with you the change/cancellation fees, if any, that they charge.

Note: Different suppliers have different policies regarding change and cancellations.

If you anticipate a need to change or cancel a booking, please maintain open and frequent communication with me.

Do you assist with visa requirements and any other necessary travel documentation?

It is the responsibility of the traveler to find out what necessary documentation is needed to enter your destination. Any visa or entry applications, need to be completed by you prior to your travels.

Note: When traveling outside of the United States, you must have a valid passport that does not expire within 6 months of your travel date.

How do you accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies?

During the booking process, I have all clients fill out a form indicating any special dietary restrictions or needs. I will use this information only when booking private dinners at a resort/hotel, or scheduling dinner reservations.

In all other instances, it is your responsibility to inform staff members of any special dietary needs you may have.
